Central is an urban area in the Central & Western district on Hong Kong Island. It is the core and central business district of Hong Kong. The population of the district is around 246,600, which is the third lowest population in Hong Kong. As the heart of Hong Kong, transportations are very convenient and a lot of multinational corporations locate their headquarters in Central, such as the Bank of China Tower, HSBC Main Building, Standard Chartered Bank Building and Prince's Building, etc. Famous shopping malls like the IFC and tourist attractions such as Lan Kwai Fong can be found in Central.
