Ping Che (坪輋) is a residential and farming area close to a cross-border road in the Northern Territories of Hong Kong. The name Ping Che refers to an agricultural and farming method that literally means 'clear land for agriculture by burning'. Areas like Ping Che in North East New Territories, with its rare scenery of open grass fields, make it a good place for photography. As well as having conservation value, Ping Che has also been earmarked for high development potential. There are two main roads in Ping Che; the Sha Tau Kok Road running East to West and Ping Che Road that leads to the Mainland border.
