Located on the southern shore of Hong Kong Island, Deep Water Bay (深水灣) is a green, tranquil and exclusive residential area free of high-rise apartments. Dubbed by some as the ‘wealthiest neighbourhood on earth’, Deep Water Bay is the playground for the rich and home to many of Hong Kong's wealthiest residents. It also has some beautiful beaches. Deep Water Bay beach is the quieter of the two nearby beaches over in Repulse Bay, and, as a result, it is popular with locals and early morning swimmers. The beach has plenty of cooking spaces for those weekend BBQs get-togethers in the summer. Deep Water Bay is also home to the stunning Hong Kong Golf Club featuring a 9 hole course in a lush valley at the back of the bay - it has extensive dining facilities offering both Chinese & European restaurants making it a revered social club.
